Cheap GPS May 2011

Another set of very cheap, but great quality, GPS units available from Amazon.com. Take advantage of the strong AUD and start building  your class sets!

There are two here that have all of the features you would need in the classroom:

• waypoint capture
• route/track capture
• simple map
• navigate to a place function
• data upload and download via mini-USB (you can even use your camera cable)

Remember that they may not come with data as detailed as you see on the screen on the website, but if you really need it you can purchase data like this for your own unit.
